Working and Studying and Editing... OH MY!

Yeah, we've been busy. School started and freedom ended... After school wont cut it either. Brian's got football... Larry's got baseball... I've got... erm... TV...

Anyway, while we don't have that much time to record, we have a lot of time to write, during free time we have in school. Plus, I have a lot of time to practice editing and video techniques so you'll probably notice the quality of our videos get a little better each video we put out.

Something else I've been thinking about with all of my time, is "We The Jury Films"... We really never acknowledged the fact that the name is "We The Jury" ... None of our videos have to do with a courtroom, or judge or anything... I guess when i came up with it, it was just a really catchy name... We're never gonna do anything about a Jury... So ignore the name, i guess...

Last thing i wanna mention is that we have 2 new projects we're working on... One of them is a secret... The other ill disclose now...

Like i said before, we have a lot of time to write. So I started writing a a pilot for a Half-Life 2 based Machinima... when i say Half-Life 2 based, it doesn't mean it's gonna reflect on the Half-Life story, its just gonna be made with the Half-Life 2 engine... [Who here actually knows what I'm talking about?] The name of the movie is called "Solitarium" [Solitary Atrium]. Thats all im gonna say for now... And all i know is that the other project WILL come out first. So heres a quick screenshot i was able to make in Vegas. [Like i said, my skills are getting better]

Redesign and New Video!

Hi, errvrehbodeh! [Best Cleveland Voice.] Notice the new look? Just trying to make it look better, and enjoyable. Hell of a lot more than the last layout... Plus I'm taking advantage of the new blogspot ability to change the layout anyway... So that's kind of the reason... But i digress...

If you're wondering, 'Battleship' was never intended to be a full-fledged video. Instead, a test of camera shots, and depressing color correction... Both worked half-assed but, worked... 'The Mission' was a shitty short that Larry wrote on his iPod in the middle of science class... and our cream of the crop, MySpace video, and the alternate ending was the one we really needed to get out... It was easier to make, and indeed 'better' than Brian's Dream in all of our eyes... AND all of the videos we posted are in HD. Shot in 1080p with the Sony HDR-CX150. Also we released an update full of me failing my 'lines'. And all of that was posted in 2 days... How is that for committed? So be on the lookout for more videos starting Fourth of July week! And remember... Spread the Word about We The Jury Films... TELL EVERYBODY!! ITS OKAY, WE BLEEP NOW!!!

The Birth of a new Video!!

Alright! We finally posted our long awaited [if by ourselves] Brian's Dream. I fixed the bug in Vegas and It's on youtube now! I sincerely apologise for the wait and I'll try a hell of a lot harder to prevent this from happening again. Now that we have our first official video up. Expect more to come at you like a bear after a bee-hive. Try to see the time lapse in this video. [6:38 - 6:42] And the differences in the background in each scene in the morning [real life.]

WHY?!!

Damn. We finished filming Brian's Dream. The only reason i begin that sentence with 'damn' is because I'm having a pretty huge problem with my editing program. So pretty much Sony Vegas 8.0 has something wrong with it. That i caused. No clue how. Sony Vegas 9.0 on the other hand WOULD'VE worked if it recognized AVI files. Which a major scene was recorded in. Damn. So again i ask the public for more time to work things out. I really hope things like this don't happen to our later videos, but seeing how summer is coming up, I don't see a problem with that. Anyway, as soon as we are [possibly] able to get BD out on YouTube, There's gonna be 2 different parts, seeing how YouTube can only handle 10 minutes, and we hit the 11 minute mark, so, bawls. I was able to get the second part to work, It's just the first part is giving me hell. And trust me, i want this f_cking video to come out as much as you do. So as soon as i can get it to work, straight to YouTube it goes.

Whuddup, good people, we're back again with a new quick post. So It's only two days into the vacation... and we're two [short] scenes away from Brian's Dream in YOUR YouTube player. We sure as hell hope that no more of our videos are this delayed. I mean come on. BUT!! all distractions from here on out are out of the way for at least until the end of the summer. But for now, we can already tell this is gonna be a productive week, this spring break, and for that. We lucked out. A lot. Nonetheless, thanks for reading up and we'll be done in no time. Well... thats what i said last time... Anyway, the point is, were almost done!!

Delay... Again...

I'm not absolutely sure, but the new video scheduled to come out on the fifth is, you guessed it, gonna be delayed. Again... It's just when one of us has time, the other two don't. We need a recording schedule. But we just hadn't had 'enough time' to continue. As enthusiastic as I am about finishing the video, I seem to be the only one with enough spare time to actually consider wanting to get the filming done. So until we can each get enough time to work and not keep busy with mindless other things as I know we do, causing 90% of all days we COULD'VE filmed and didn't, it's gonna be a while. At least past the fifth. Sorry for the few fans we actually have who were looking forward to seeing this soon.

WTJ's New Blog

'Ello and welcome to the new WTJ Films blog! I've lately been having a lot of spare time so i decided to just, y'know, make a blog. We needed one anyway. So i'll get to the point and tell you what you want to know.

We'll finally come out with a scripted video soon. Little sneak peek- it's called "Brian's Dream." Already interested, huh? Ha. But for now we're still working on the script. As well as a few more. But I have a basic idea of "Brian's Dream." You can only imagine what its gonna be. Mwa ha ha.

On a lighter note, we're well under way with ideas and scripts and a whole synopsis for a series. It's gonna be made with Half-Life 2. It's called "Welcome to Nowhere." And that's all I'm gonna say.
