In-STEVE-tion... The hell?

What's up errvrehbody? Hope you had a awesome holiday and new years. So heres a heartfelt hug from us at WTJ films... Hug... Anyway, today I posted a silly fake trailer called 'In-STEVE-tion' which is a pointless parody on Inception which was by far the best movie of 2010. Having seen it 3 times myself i thought i would post my own kind of take on it. We haven't posted much recently so hey, its better than nothing. It was both filmed and edited in the span of about 3 hours not including the explanation i gave at the end...

Also, Larry and I are working on a video that should be out by February. Spoiler alert: its about time travel. With a shit-ton of video and sound editing put into it, due to the amount of guns... Damn straight.

Another thing i look forward to shooting is a new mini-series that I'm producing along with my friend Cait... Pretty much she draws out a little notebook comic featuring her and I and we film and voice it out. But i should tell you now, the storyline's in her comics are somewhat reminiscent of something you would find in an episode of 'Happy Tree Friends'. So we'll see how it all plays out.

Working and Studying and Editing... OH MY!

Yeah, we've been busy. School started and freedom ended... After school wont cut it either. Brian's got football... Larry's got baseball... I've got... erm... TV...

Anyway, while we don't have that much time to record, we have a lot of time to write, during free time we have in school. Plus, I have a lot of time to practice editing and video techniques so you'll probably notice the quality of our videos get a little better each video we put out.

Something else I've been thinking about with all of my time, is "We The Jury Films"... We really never acknowledged the fact that the name is "We The Jury" ... None of our videos have to do with a courtroom, or judge or anything... I guess when i came up with it, it was just a really catchy name... We're never gonna do anything about a Jury... So ignore the name, i guess...

Last thing i wanna mention is that we have 2 new projects we're working on... One of them is a secret... The other ill disclose now...

Like i said before, we have a lot of time to write. So I started writing a a pilot for a Half-Life 2 based Machinima... when i say Half-Life 2 based, it doesn't mean it's gonna reflect on the Half-Life story, its just gonna be made with the Half-Life 2 engine... [Who here actually knows what I'm talking about?] The name of the movie is called "Solitarium" [Solitary Atrium]. Thats all im gonna say for now... And all i know is that the other project WILL come out first. So heres a quick screenshot i was able to make in Vegas. [Like i said, my skills are getting better]

Redesign and New Video!

Hi, errvrehbodeh! [Best Cleveland Voice.] Notice the new look? Just trying to make it look better, and enjoyable. Hell of a lot more than the last layout... Plus I'm taking advantage of the new blogspot ability to change the layout anyway... So that's kind of the reason... But i digress...

If you're wondering, 'Battleship' was never intended to be a full-fledged video. Instead, a test of camera shots, and depressing color correction... Both worked half-assed but, worked... 'The Mission' was a shitty short that Larry wrote on his iPod in the middle of science class... and our cream of the crop, MySpace video, and the alternate ending was the one we really needed to get out... It was easier to make, and indeed 'better' than Brian's Dream in all of our eyes... AND all of the videos we posted are in HD. Shot in 1080p with the Sony HDR-CX150. Also we released an update full of me failing my 'lines'. And all of that was posted in 2 days... How is that for committed? So be on the lookout for more videos starting Fourth of July week! And remember... Spread the Word about We The Jury Films... TELL EVERYBODY!! ITS OKAY, WE BLEEP NOW!!!
